so after a decade of crazy, chaotic, dangerous, adventure-filled work, my wife decided that i needed an outlet. as it turns out, i'm awesome an repressing everything, because, well, work goes on. i've been in the military for a decade which, obviously, has been entirely dominated by war. a war i deployed into twice. a war in which i spent 3 of those years in a hospital that was the main stateside receiving medical center for all navy and marine casualties from overseas. a war which burned memories- images, sounds, smells...- into my mind. memories that haunt me. so after almost a decade, i decided to transition to the reserves, opting to purs
